Learning Opportunities at Snow Lake Keep
Permaculture Design &
Natural Building Courses
Come learn with us!
North Mountain Permaculture was created to provide space to share knowledge and skills essential for living off the land. Our classroom consists of over 200 acres of forest, marshlands, lakes and waterways, as well as 80 acres of recovering forest lost to clearcutting. Our goal is to facilitate learning while restoring damaged habitats, protecting existing habitats, and strengthening community resilience in the face of our rapidly changing planet.
We offer courses in permaculture, natural building, and self-reliance that aim to equip participants with essential skills for living healthy, ecologically-connected lives in a post-industrial paradigm. We believe hands-on knowledge sharing is the most direct route to developing these skills and building community in the process.
